Cardano is an open-source smart contract platform that provides multiple functionalities through a layered design. Its modular architecture will eventually allow network delegation, sidechains, and lightweight client data structures. Cardano uses a proof-of-stake (PoS) protocol called Ouroboros to secure the network and manage block production. The network’s native token, ADA, enables stakers to earn a proportional share of newly issued tokens based on their holdings and allows users to pay transaction fees.
ADA/USDT is a spot trading pair where ADA is the base asset and Tether is the quote asset. The price displayed on the page represents the amount of USDT required to purchase 1 ADA. Buy orders use USDT to exchange for ADA, while sell orders use ADA to exchange for USDT.
After a spot order is filled, the relevant assets will be credited to the user's spot account. Whether an order can be filled depends on the order type, order quantity, and market liquidity.
